Abstract:
A dimming switch (10) comprises two connection terminals (101), a switch element (102), a power supply drive circuit (103), a voltage-stabilizing and filtering circuit (104), a control module (105) and an input device (106), wherein the power supply drive circuit (103) is used for supplying power for the control module (105) and the input device (106) via the voltage-stabilizing and filtering circuit (104), the input device (106) is used for sending a control signal to the control module (105), the control module (105) is used for generating a dimming signal containing high and low levels according to the control signal, the power supply drive circuit (103) is used for responding to the high and low levels in the dimming signal to switch the ON and OFF of the switch element (102), and the power supply drive circuit (103) at least turns off a connection path with the voltage-stabilizing and filtering circuit (104) during a period that the received dimming signal has a low level. Also provided is a dimming method for using the above-mentioned dimming switch (10). The above-mentioned dimming switch (10) is connected in parallel to a light source loop and is convenient in installation, and during the period that the dimming signal has a low level, the voltage-stabilizing and filtering circuit (104) is disconnected from the power supply drive circuit (103) without influencing the voltage between two connection terminals (101), so that the operation stability of the dimming switch (10) and the method is improved.
