Abstract:
In an end mill 10, a small diameter body 13 is provided coaxially on an end of a large diameter shank 11 via a conical connecting section 12, and a single slightly recessed mounting recess 14 is provided on a tooth body 15 on the distal end of the body 13. In the mounting recess 14, a cutting edge 16 is disposed so as to bulge in an arc shape and protrude from the outer circumferential surface of the body 13. It is possible to form dimples that are separated from each other one by one each time the body 13 is rotated once.
