Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dipole lightning arrester having a light emitting unit, comprising: a rod member charged with charges from the ground; and a charging plate or a charging pipe charged by thunderclouds, wherein the light emitting unit is electrically connected between the rod member and the charging plate or the charging pipe and is caused to emit light by electrical energy charged to the charging plate or the charging unit by thunderclouds. Due to this feature, the present invention has an effect of psychologically giving a sense of safety by allowing a user to visually confirm that a normal operation is performed wherein a shock current of a lightning stroke safely flows to the ground.
