Abstract:
Provided are a direct-acting guide bearing apparatus and a sealing member used therein that prevent foreign material from entering the interior of a slider, and lubricant from leaking from the interior of a slider, and that have reduced manufacturing costs. To this end, the direct-acting guide bearing apparatus (1) is configured so that a plurality of seal members (31, 32, 33) disposed in an axial direction of a slider (20) is attached to an axial end of the slider (20) so as to be in slidable contact with a rolling-element rolling groove (11) of a guide rail (10). The plurality of seal members (31, 32, 33) has main seal units (31a, 32a, 33a) provided with lips (31b, 32b, 33b) in slidable contact with the rolling-element rolling groove (11), and reinforcing members (31c, 32c, 33c) provided on both surfaces of the main seal units (31a, 32a, 33a).
