Abstract:
A direct-acting link device and a two-legged walking robot with the device are provided. The direct-acting link device is held and locked by a holding brake so as not to telescope during the stop of an actuator. As a result, a load on the actuator is reduced, and electric power consumption is reduced. A direct-acting link device (1) has an actuator (28) and is telescopable in the length direction by the drive of the actuator (28), and the device comprises a holding brake (30) for holding and locking a movable section (41) of the actuator (28). A two-legged walking robot comprises the direct-acting link device (1) having the holding brake (30) for holding and locking the movable section (41) of the actuator (28).
