Abstract:
A direct backlight diffuser made of a synthetic resin is provided. The diffuser does not warp nor cause nonuniform luminance nor deteriorate workability at the time of being incorporated into a backlight, even with a reduced thickness. The direct backlight diffuser made of the synthetic resin is composed of a resin composition wherein transparent fine particles are mixed in a synthetic resin. The backlight diffuser has a thickness of 0.1-1.5mm and has a shape having at least one side bent.
