Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a direct-connection valve for a die casting cavity portion, whereby a gas-venting passage directly connected to a cavity in retrofitted fashion can be constructed at any position of a cavity, overflow, or other gap. [Solution] A hollow outer cylinder casing 52 is provided which can be mounted in a through-hole 34 penetrating linearly from the outside of a fixed die 14 to a cavity 18, one side of the outer cylinder casing 52 in the longitudinal direction being exposed from the fixed die 14 and the other side reaching the cavity 18, and an opening 54 being provided in the distal end of the other side. The present invention is provided with a valve body 58 disposed in the outer cylinder casing 52 and operating so as to be able to close and open the opening 54, and an actuator 62 for performing the opening and closing operation of the opening 54 by the valve body 58. A gas input/output part 72 is provided for performing inputting/outputting of gas between the outer cylinder casing 52 and the outside, the gas input/output part 72 being attached to the portion of the outer cylinder casing 52 exposed from the fixed die 14, and being communicated with the inside of the outer cylinder casing 52.
