Abstract:
A direct conversion circuit (100) of the present invention is provided with three alternating current switches (104) that are respectively connected between three alternating current input terminals (101) and an output terminal (102). Each alternating current switch (104) comprises first and second switching elements (105) that are connected in series between a corresponding alternating current input terminal (101) and the output terminal (102). Each of the first and second switching elements (105) supplies electric current from the source terminal to the drain terminal or from the drain terminal to the source terminal in accordance with the polarity of the source-drain voltage when the source-gate voltage is higher than the threshold voltage, interrupts electric current from the drain terminal to the source terminal when the source-gate voltage is not higher than the threshold voltage, and supplies electric current from the source terminal to the drain terminal when the drain-gate voltage is not lower than the threshold voltage.
