Title:
DIRECT CURRENT DISTRIBUTION-BASED CHARGING/DISCHARGING SYSTEM FOR BATTERY ACTIVATION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/103183
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A charging/discharging system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main power conversion unit configured to convert an alternating current power from an AC power grid into a direct current power having a reference voltage so as to output the converted direct current power to a DC grid; a power meter configured to detect an output power of the main power conversion unit; a charging/discharging unit which is provided on a one-to-one basis to a plurality of batteries and includes a plurality of chargers/dischargers electrically coupled to the DC grid; and an integrated control unit configured to, if an output power from the main power conversion unit is greater than a first threshold power, selectively transmit a first control signal indicating a charging event or a second control signal indicating a discharging event to each charger/discharger on the basis of a predetermined activation schedule. Each charger/discharger is configured to convert a direct current power of the DC grid into a charging power so as to charge a battery in response to the first control signal, and convert a discharge power from the battery into a direct current power so as to output the converted direct current power to the DC grid in response to the second control signal. Each charger/discharger is configured to stop charging/discharging of the battery while the first and second control signals are not received.
