This direct-current power supply device (1) includes: a rectifying circuit (2) for rectifying alternating-current (AC) power supplied from an AC power supply (60) and converting the AC power into direct-current (DC) power; an electric charge accumulation unit (4) having a function of accumulating electric charges; a charging unit (5) for charging the electric charge accumulation unit (4); and a heat dissipation plate (10). The charging unit (5) has a positive electrode-side switching element (51), a negative electrode-side switching element (52), a positive electrode-side backflow prevention diode (53), and a negative electrode-side backflow prevention diode (54). The positive electrode-side switching element (51), the negative electrode-side switching element (52), the positive electrode-side backflow prevention diode (53), and the negative electrode-side backflow prevention diode (54) are discrete semiconductor elements. The negative electrode-side backflow prevention diode (54) is an element which is full-mold packaged. The positive electrode-side switching element (51), the negative electrode-side switching element (52), and the positive electrode-side backflow prevention diode (53) are elements which are not full-mold packaged.
