Title:
DIRECT-CURRENT SOLID-STATE CIRCUIT BREAKER HAVING ADAPTIVE CURRENT-LIMITING CAPABILITY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/218713
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A direct-current solid-state circuit breaker with adaptive current-limiting capability and a control method therefor. A topological structure of the direct-current solid-state circuit breaker is an H-bridge circuit formed by two unidirectional conducting switchable bridge arms (1, 3) and two diode series bridge arms (2, 4); the two unidirectional conducting switchable bridge arms (1, 3) are connected in series to the two diode series bridge arms (2, 4) in a same direction, so as to form two series branches that are connected in parallel to each other, the two series branches following, when connected in parallel, the principle of forming a common connection point by means of same types of bridge arms; a series branch of a direct-current reactor (L) and of a direct-current bias power supply (V dc) are connected to a common connection point of the two unidirectional conducting switchable bridge arms (1, 3) and a common connection point of the two diode series bridge arms (2, 4); and a direct-current line is respectively connected to two common connection points of the unidirectional conducting switchable bridge arms (1, 3) and the diode series bridge arms (2, 4). The present invention enables effective cooperation between fault current limiting, protection, and cutting off, guaranteeing a reliable fault ride-through of the residual network.
