Abstract:
Provided is a horizontal multi-joint robot (10). The horizontal multi-joint robot (10) comprises a base (100), a first arm (200), and a second arm (300) which are connected in sequence, and comprises a first motor (410, 710, 810) disposed at a position where the first arm (200) is connected to the base (100), and a second motor (420, 720, 820) connected to the second arm (300) by means of a transmission device (500). The projections of the first motor (410, 710, 810) and the second motor (420, 720, 820) on a plane perpendicular to the axis of the first motor (410, 710, 810) at least partially overlap with each other. The first arm (200) and the second arm (300) are directly driven respectively by means of the first motor (410, 710, 810) and the second motor (420, 720, 820), and thus a speed reducer is not needed, thereby preventing the precision, speed, cost, and drag torque of the horizontal multi-joint robot (10) from being affected due to the restriction of the speed reducer; moreover, by configuring that the first motor (410, 710, 810) and the second motor (420, 720, 820) at least partially overlap with each other, the distance between the axes of the two motors can be reduced, thereby reducing the output torque demand of the first motor (410, 710, 810), thus reducing the overall volume and mass of the horizontal multi-joint robot (10), and facilitating implementation of the high acceleration and the high speed of the horizontal multi-joint robot (10).
