Abstract:
A direct LED backlight module (200) and a liquid crystal display device comprising said backlight module (200), the backlight module (200) comprising a backplate (1) and a plurality of LED chips (2) arranged in an array on the backplate (1), each LED chip (2) being correspondingly covered by an optical lens (3); the optical lens (3) has a top surface (31) and a bottom surface (32), the bottom surface (32) being provided with a recessed groove (32a) to form a lens structure, the LED chip (2) being accommodated in the recessed groove (32a); the plurality of optical lenses (3) covering the plurality of LED chips (2) together form a light guide plate structure (4), the top surface (31) of the plurality of optical lenses (3) all being positioned on the same horizontal plane to form a light emitting surface (5). The light guide medium in the present backlight module (200) has high interchangeability and universality, and can effectively shorten the product development cycle, reducing the costs of development and mass production.
