Abstract:
An information processing device of the present invention reduces distribution costs as well as reduces the negative effects to the environment due to the occurrence of repeated distribution, when delivering direct mail. The information processing device comprises an expected time calculating function that calculates an expected delivery time on the basis of information related to the delivery requested package, and tracking information for the package, while calculating a date and time deadline for receiving materials for direct mail which can be delivered with the package on the basis of the expected delivery time; a collecting function which generates information relating to an advertisement according to the direct mail on the basis of the information related to the package, and the date and time deadline for receiving materials, and transmits the generated information to the terminal of an advertising agent, thereby collecting advertising; and a distribution function which until the advent of the date and time deadline for receiving materials receives advertisement copy information that is a copy of an advertisement according to the direct mail, and in response distributes said advertising copy information to the hub that is closest when distributing the package.
