Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst for methanation of a synthetic gas and a method for preparing the same. A method for preparing a direct methanation catalyst for a synthetic gas according to the present invention, and more specifically, a method for preparing a direct methanation catalyst for a molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) group, comprises: a pulverization step of pulverizing a precursor containing sulfur and molybdenum; a mixing step of mixing a material including a solvent with the precursor pulverized in the pulverization step; a reaction step of preparing a catalyst by putting the material mixed in the mixing step into a reactor and reacting the mixed material under a high-pressure H2 gas atmosphere; and an activation step of activating the prepared catalyst.
