Abstract:
A direct reduction process of a coal-based shaft furnace for producing sponge iron, comprising the following steps: uniformly mixing iron ore concentrate and a binder, and then mixing those with a reducing agent and a desulfurizing agent after briquetting and drying; feeding the mixture into a reduction chamber (1) of a coal-based shaft furnace by means of a top distributing device; discharging the mixture out of the furnace by means of a discharging device (8) after the mixture passes through a preheating section (4), a reduction section (5), and a cooling section (7) in the reduction chamber (1) of the coal shaft furnace; upon hot sieving or cold sieving, directly feeding the mixture into a smelting device or feeding the mixture into the melting device after briquetting; and completely recycling the screen underflow after magnetic separation.
