Abstract:
Disclosed are a directional microphone device and directivity control method, which correct differences in levels and phase that occur at low frequencies among a plurality of non-directional microphone units, as well as correct directionality thereamong and facilitate size reduction. A level difference computation unit (105) computes the difference in levels between a first signal x1(t) that is obtained with a first non-directional microphone unit (101) and a second signal x2(t) that is obtained with a second non-directional microphone unit (102). A correction parameter computation unit (106) computes a coefficient of a first IIR filter that configures a correction processing unit (103), on the basis of the difference in levels. The correction processing unit (103) employs the computed coefficient to simultaneously correct the difference in levels and phase at low frequencies between two non-directional microphone units.
