Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To provide a disassembly tool for a shock absorber, the disassembly
tool having such advantages that the tool is easily operated in use and jumping
of a rod of the shock absorber in operation of the tool can be prevented. [MEANS
FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] In the disassembly tool (30), a holding part (55b) of
an arm (55) is curved from a fixed part (55a) and a base part (53) toward the base
(31) side (lower side) at an inclination angle of θ1 (approximately 45°
to 55°). Therefore, the vertical component force (Fv) of push-down force
(F) of the arm (55) is greater and the horizontal component force (Fh) is less.
As a result, the horizontal component force (Fh) of the push-down force (F) of
the arm (55) is less than the maximum frictional force f = pN acting on a contact
surface between a working table (S) and the lower surface of a leg plate (33) of
the base (31) (f = uN > Fh). This prevents the entire disassembly tool (30) from
sliding on a working table (S) when the arm (55) is pushed down, allowing easy and
smooth disassembly of the shock absorber.
