Abstract:
A brake caliper (10) for a vehicle disc brake. The caliper comprises two half calipers (10', 10'') connected by a bridge (11) and at least one piston which defines an operating axis (p-p). The bridge comprises the housings (16) for the screws (12) for clamping the two half calipers; one of the half calipers (10'') comprises the seats (20) for the screws (21) for the fixing of the caliper to a support (1) fixed firmly to a frame portion (2) of the bicycle. Each of the seats (20) defines an axis (s-s); each axis (s-s) is perpendicular to the operating axis of the piston. The seats (20) and the housings (16) are arranged in a manner such that imaginary extensions thereof intersect at least partially.
