Abstract:
A disc brake device (100) is provided with: a disc rotor (10); a support (20); a pair of brake pads (30, 40); a biasing member (plate spring) (50, 60, 70, 80) for biasing the brake pads (30, 40) in a rotor axis direction on the rotor rotation leading side and the rotor rotation trailing side of each of these brake pads (30, 40); and a pushing member for pushing each of the brake pads (30, 40) against the disc rotor (10) during braking. The plate spring (50) disposed on the rotor rotation leading side of each of the brake pads (30, 40) is provided with a first biasing unit for biasing the rotor rotation leading side of each brake pad away from the disc rotor (10), whereas the plate spring (80) disposed on the rotor rotation trailing side of each of the brake pads (30, 40) is provided with a second biasing unit for biasing the rotor rotation trailing side of each brake pad into close proximity to the disc rotor (10).
