Abstract:
A caliper provided to this disc brake comprises a sub pin insertion part (75) into which a sub pin (33) is inserted. The sub pin (33) has in the outer periphery thereof a first surface part (131) and a second surface part (132) having different radii of curvature. In the sub pin (33), a circumferentially intermediate part of the first surface part (131) or a circumferentially intermediate part of the second surface part (132) is disposed in a region where a load (F2) generated from the sub pin insertion part (75) during braking is borne via an insulator (24) disposed between the sub pin and the sub pin insertion part (75).
