Abstract:
The invention relates to a disc brake for utility vehicles, comprising a brake caliper; a brake disc; an actuation lever which is arranged axially to a disc brake axis of the brake disc; an adjustment device comprising an adjustment spindle, a pressure collar, and an adjustment spindle head, wherein the adjustment device is at least partly arranged within the interior of the brake caliper; a primary seal (8) for sealing the interior of the brake caliper; an annular area which is delimited by an inner wall of a passage opening of the brake caliper and the adjustment device; and a secondary seal (9) for at least partly sealing the interior of the brake caliper, said primary seal (8) and secondary seal (9) being designed as a plunger protection cap (14).
