Abstract:

A disc convey apparatus includes a disc tray for supporting a disc to be conveyed and a tray drive apparatus for driving the tray to move reciprocally between a first position corresponding to a turn table arrangement position inside the disc apparatus and a second position corresponding to a disc attachment/detachment position outside the disc apparatus. The disc tray (60) has a main tray (61) for supporting one side of the disc and a sub-tray (71) provided separately from the main tray for supporting a part of the other side of the disc. These trays form a pocket portion for containing a part of the disc. Even when used in the vertical state, it is possible to easily attach/detach the disc to/from the tray and the disc can be conveyed stably without rattling. Thus, the apparatus can be used both in the horizontal state and in the vertical state.
