Abstract:
Provided are a disc spring, which is of course designed to have increased inside diameter precision but also in which residual stress can be imparted on the edge of the inside diameter part of the tension face, and a production method therefor. After forming a beveled part (121A) on the edge of the inside diameter part (112A) of the tension face (114A) of a blank (100A), shot peening is performed on at least the tension face (114A). Residual stress can be imparted to the beveled part (121A) of the edge of the inside diameter part (112A) of the tension face (114A). After the shot peening, the inside diameter part (112A) is machined. Because it is possible in this case to leave at least the outside diameter side of the beveled part (121A), the remainder of the beveled part (121A) can configure the post-machining edge of the inside diameter part (112A) of the tension face (114A). Consequently, the edge of the inside diameter part (112) of the tension face (114) where the maximum stress in the disc spring (100) may be generated can have residual stress.
