Abstract:
A disc valve comprising a fluid inlet port, a fluid outlet port, a first disc having a first through hole communicating with the fluid inlet port and extending in the direction of the disc plate and a second through hole communicating with the fluid outlet port and extending in the direction of the disc plate, and a second disc which has in one side a recess that can communicate with the first and second through holes of the first disc and the one side of which is in slide contact with the one side of the first disc, wherein a closed space is defined radially outside the second disc, and the second disc relatively slides on the first disc so as to adjust the degree of overlap of the recess of the second disc with the first through hole of the first disc. The slide surfaces of the first and second disc have self−lubricating properties. The disc valve further comprises a communication passage for continuous communication of the first through hole with the closed space radially outside the second disc. The portion adjacent to the sliding portion of the one side of the first disc sliding on the second disc is exposed to the closed space.
