Abstract:
The present invention relates to a discarded phosphorescent golf ball having a structure in which grooves are formed in the core and the outer cover layer of the discarded golf ball so as to form lines in a cross shape, and then a phosphorescent synthetic resin having a phosphorescent dye mixed therein is applied in the indentations along the lines, and to a method of manufacturing the same. The phosphorescent golf ball according to the present invention collects sunlight during the day and then naturally gives off light at night. By naturally giving off light at night, the phosphorescent golf ball allows pedestrians as well as drivers on the road to clearly see the dividing lines on the road, thereby preventing traffic accidents. In particular, even when there is friction due to external contact with the phosphorescent synthetic resin of the discarded phosphorescent golf ball, the indentations along the lines protect the phosphorescent synthetic resin, and thus the advantage is provided that the light collecting function of the discarded golf ball having a nighttime road identifying means can be maximally prolonged. Therefore, the discarded phosphorescent golf ball according to the present invention can be used as a nighttime road identifying device, in a parking lot, etc. Through the present invention, the discarded phosphorescent golf ball can be applied to all products and devices for indicating various safety zones, dividing devices, signs, etc.
