Abstract:

Provided are a discharge system, which can suppress leakage of a fluid when the discharge device and a replenishment device are connected, that leakage being caused by pressure acting on the replenishment device side from a supply device side for the fluid when the discharge device and replenishment device are connected for replenishing fluid in the discharge device, and a method for replenishing the fluid. A discharge system (10) has a discharge device (20) capable of replenishment and discharging of a fluid for discharging, a replenishment device (100) for replenishing the fluid in the discharge device (20), a fluid supply device (160) that can feed the fluid under pressure, a control device (170), and a connection state detecting means. The control device (170) puts a valve (106) into an open state conditioned upon a connection between the discharge device (20) and the replenishment device (100) being connected and allows fluid to be supplied by the supply device (160).
