Abstract:
A disconnection detection device provided to a vehicle having a horn device, the disconnection detection device having a disconnection detection unit (18) provided with: a constant current circuit (34) which supplies a constant current for detecting disconnection to two horns (10a, 10b) via a wire harness; and a disconnection detection circuit which determines the presence or absence of disconnection on the wire harness by monitoring the output voltage of the constant current circuit, and supplies drive power to the wire harness by turning a contact circuit on independently from a horn switch when disconnection of the wire harness was detected. The disconnection detection unit is disposed within a relay box along with a plug-in relay.
