Abstract:
A disconnection diagnosis apparatus for a digital quantity output loop, the apparatus comprising: a direct-current power supply; two MOS switches, i.e. a front-stage MOS switch K1 and a rear-stage MOS switch K2, which are connected in series, wherein the direct-current power supply outputs a positive power supply voltage and a driving current sequentially through the front-stage MOS switch and the rear-stage MOS switch, an external load is connected to a cable to be diagnosed, and the driving current returns to the ground after flowing through the load; a controller, which transmits a high- or low-level control signal, so as to respectively control, by means of corresponding signal isolators, the switching on and off of the two MOS switches, which are connected in series; and a disconnection detection module, which is connected in parallel to the front-stage MOS switch, and outputs a digital signal to the controller. By means of the diagnosis apparatus, a cable disconnection fault can be detected in a timely manner no matter whether an external load is in a powered-on or powered-off state; moreover, the technique uses switch quantity detection, such that the cost is relatively low, and the application for a relatively large load change range can be satisfied.
