Abstract:
A discrete frequency soft starting method and its device for an electric machine, trigger
signals generated by a control system act on sets of inverse parallel thyristor
valves (SA,SB,SC,SD,SE) connected between the supply and the electric machine
to conduct a pair of thyristors of them according to a set sequence and a set frequency,
and the electric machine is started from the rest to the full speed in the way of
wave-jumping by controlling the sets of the thyristor valves.
