Abstract:
Provided is a disease diagnosis support method and the like which employ an endoscopic image of a digestive organ, and in which a neural network is used. This disease diagnosis support method, which employs an endoscopic image of a digestive organ, and in which a neural network is used, is characterized in that the neural network is trained using a first endoscopic image of a digestive organ, and, corresponding to the first endoscopic image, a confirmed diagnosis result of at least one of a positive or negative diagnosis of the disease of said digestive organ, previous disease, a level of severity, or information corresponding to the imaged site, and on the basis of a second endoscopic image of a digestive organ, the trained neural network outputs at least one of the probability of a positive and/or negative diagnosis of the disease of said digestive organ, the probability of previous disease, the level of severity of the disease, and information corresponding to the imaged site.
