Abstract:
A dish washing machine for washing an object to be washed, provided with: an operation unit for inputting an instruction for the dish washing machine; a control unit for controlling the operation of the dish washing machine on the basis of the instruction inputted by the operation unit; a display unit for displaying the state of operation of the dish washing machine; and a memory unit for storing information relating to the process and state of operation and allowing the information to be read therefrom and written therein. When determining, on the basis of the information relating to the process and state of operation which is stored in the memory unit, that an operation time period longer than a first predetermined time period has elapsed, the control unit provides display for inspection on the display unit, the display informing that the time at which the dish washing machine needs to be inspected has come. The information relating to the process and state of operation which is stored in the memory unit is updated at the time of the inspection, and this causes the display for inspection not to be displayed again after that irrespective of the process and state of operation of the dish washing machine.
