Abstract:
A dishwasher and a base assembly, the base assembly comprising a base (1) and an overflow cover (2); the overflow cover (2) comprises an overflow water distribution cover body (21) that is provided with an overflow port (211) and a mounting part (2131), and the overflow water distribution cover body is internally provided with an overflow cavity (212); the base (1) is provided thereon with a connection part (113) that jointly fixes an overflow hole (112) and the mounting part (2131); the overflow port (211) and the overflow hole (112) both communicate with the overflow cavity (212) and form an overflow channel (214); a water intake plate (215) that communicates with the overflow port (211) is provided on the overflow cover (2) close to an upper surface (10) of the base (1), and the water intake plate (215) is provided thereon with a plurality of filter holes (2151). The base assembly has the functions of preventing splash and guiding flow, and may retain pollutants by means of the water intake plate (215) since the plurality of filter holes is provided on the water intake plate (215), thus preventing pollutants from directly entering into the overflow channel (214) and blocking the overflow channel (214).
