Abstract:
A dishwasher and a method for automatically washing dishes using a dishwasher. The dishwasher comprises an entrance module (1), a washing module (2) and a conveyor belt (8); the dishwasher further comprises a steam blocking device (3), the steam blocking device (3) being provided below the conveyor belt (8) at the place where the entrance module (1) and the washing module (2) are connected and comprising a washing arm (5), the washing arm (5) spraying water upwards, when the dishwasher is working, to form a curtain of water that blocks steam. A method for automatically washing dishes using a dishwasher. The method solves, by means of spraying water upwards between the entrance module (1) and the washing module (2) of the dishwasher to form a curtain of water, the problem of a lot of hot steam gathering at the entrance of the dishwasher.
