The present invention relates to a dishwasher (1 ) comprising: a tub for receiving the articles to be cleaned with a cleaning liquid; one or more rotating spraying means (2) each for jetting the pressurized cleaning liquid onto the articles; a liquid supply means (3) for supplying the pressurized cleaning liquid to the rotating spray means (2); and a control unit (4) for operating the liquid supply means (3).
