Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a door (40) which covers a front surface opening (32) of a housing (31); a washing tank (33) which is supported in the housing (31) in a state in which the door (40) can be moved forward and rearward; a drive device (51) provided with a drive unit for moving the door (40) in the forward direction and the rearward direction; an acceleration sensor (45) which detects vibration acting on at least the door (40); a notification unit which notifies a user of the operation state; and a control unit (44) which controls the driving of the drive device (51). The control unit (44) is configured so as to drive a drive motor (52) when a prescribed signal is received from the acceleration sensor (45), and so as to issue notification via the notification unit when driving of the drive motor (52) is started. Accordingly, provided is a dishwasher which can be adapted to various designs, and which can be withdrawn to a position in which tableware (36) can be accommodated in a tableware basket (47), even if there is no operation switch or handle (43) on the door (40).
