Provided is a dishwasher, comprising: a cylinder (1) containing a washing liquid therein; a bubble generating device (2), which continuously and/or intermittently generates a gas on an inner bottom wall of the cylinder (1); a dish rack (3), which is immersed in the washing liquid; and a driving device (4), which drives the dish rack (3) to perform a linear reciprocating or rotational motion within the cylinder (1). By providing the bubble generating device (2), it is possible to generate bubbles in the washing liquid in the cylinder (1). The bubbles then rise vertically and reach the surface of a tableware, and the tableware is cleaned by the shock wave generated by the bubbles breaking on the surface of the tableware. At the same time, a mobile dish rack (3) is arranged, and a linear reciprocating or rotating motion within the washing liquid can enable the bubbles fully contact with the tableware, and enable the washing liquid flow, thus the tableware is washed more powerfully by the washing liquid, the adhesion of the oil on the tableware is reduced, and the cleaning effect is good.
