Abstract:

The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising: a case in which an object to be cleaned is accommodated; a plurality of spray arms for spraying cleaning water into the case; a sump disposed at the lower side of the case so as to store the cleaning water, and including a spray path coupling part which has a plurality of spray arm supply holes respectively communicating with the plurality of spray arms; a cleaning pump allowing the cleaning water stored in the sump to pass through the spray path coupling part so as to be supplied to the plurality of spray arms; and a switching valve disposed at the spray path coupling part, and including a path distributor for distributing the cleaning water to at least any one of the plurality of spray arms, wherein the path distributor has a plurality of distributing holes, and is rotatably disposed at the spray path coupling part such that (i) when the path distributor is at a reference position, the plurality of distributing holes are positioned to allow all of the plurality of spray arm supply holes to be open, and (ii) when the path distributor rotates by a first angle at the reference position, the plurality of distributing holes are positioned to allow any one of the plurality of spray arm supply holes to be open, and the spray path coupling part protrudes toward the path distributor, and has a plurality of support ribs including a support rib corresponding to at least any one of the plurality of distributing holes of the path distributor having rotated by the first angle at the reference position.
