The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a dishwashing system which contributes to a saving in the labour of a worker, and which reduces the complexity of a series of tasks related to dishwashing; and a robot device. A dishwashing system according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a conveyor-type dishwasher 200 which washes dishes in a washer main body 210, while the dishes are being conveyed by a conveyor 310; a robot device 100 provided with a robot arm mechanism 101 which is installed in the vicinity of a picking area outside the washer main body in order to pick up dishes conveyed to the picking area by conveyors 320, 330, and move said dishes to a stocking area; and a control device 500 which generates permission signals related to operations of the conveyors with respect to the dishwasher.
