Abstract:
A clean toilet seat is important for good hygiene, but use by large numbers of people may result in bacterial or other skin infections. Disclosed is a disinfecting and odor-eliminating spray device for western-style toilets or toilets with a water jet feature for sanitary washing in which a spray can for spraying a sterilizing mist (any air-freshener or odor-eliminator can also be included) is connected to the hinge of the toilet seat and the toilet lid by pipes and is activated manually or automatically (with a timer and poppet solenoid valve) in a toilet bowl when closed such that leakage is minimized.
