Abstract:
A disk device having an actuator that is swingable about a swing shaft, in the radial direction of a magnetic recording medium; a lamp block for holding a portion of the actuator when a head section of the actuator is sheltered; a circuit board for performing at least either signal transmission or reception at least between the head section and the actuator; an upper chassis; and a lower chassis. The swing shaft of the actuator, the lamp block, and the circuit board each have fastening sections on both sides in the vertical direction that is orthogonal to the magnetic recording medium. Fastening the fastening sections from the upper chassis and the lower chassis causes the actuator, the lamp block, and the circuit board to be assembled to the upper chassis and the lower chassis.
