Abstract:
A disk device capable of continuing the reproduction and recording of data at the time of condensation occurence without interrupting the processing. In case a condensation sensor (11) has not detected the occurrence of condensation, the quantity of reflected light at the ordinary time is measured by a drive control unit (9) through a light detector (14), a signal processing circuit (15), an RFIC (5) and a DSP (6). In case the condensation sensor (11) has detected the occurrence of condensation, on the other hand, the quantity of reflected light at the condensation time is measured by the drive control unit (9) through the light detector (14), the signal processing circuit (15), the RFIC (5) and the DSP (6). On the basis of the quantity of reflected light at the ordinary time and the quantity of reflected light at the condensation time, a driver (7) and/or the RFIC (5) are controlled by the drive control unit (9) thereby to control a laser power and/or a servo gain.
