Abstract:
With regard to managed copy, if each copy source disk can be individually identified, it is possible to acquire information such as how many times the disk has been copied, and it is considered that a variety of services will be enabled therewith. However, since a BCA, which is effective for individual identification, is recorded by laser for each disk, there had been a problem of production cost increasing. Such a problem can be solved by switching the copy process according to whether the identification information of the optical disk is identification information including individual identification information or identification information not including individual identification information.
