Abstract:
A disk roll comprises a shaft member and a circular ring member fitted to the outer
periphery of the shaft member. The ring member is formed in a circular ring shape
and fitted to the disk-like shaft member. The ring member is formed of a plurality
of arcuate members arranged in the circumferential direction. Each of the arcuate
members is secured to the outer periphery of the shaft member by a screw, and thereby,
the ring member is fitted to the shaft member. Since the circular ring member is
not integrally molded and formed of the arcuate members, the manufacturing cost
of the disk roll can be reduced. Since the ring member can be divided into the arcuate
members, the disk roll can be easily transported and easily mounted onto the shaft
member.
