Abstract:
A disk tray position sensing mechanism which smoothly carries out the action of manually charging a disk tray and a disk apparatus comprising this disk tray position sensing mechanism. The disk apparatus, having a chassis (31), a means for reproducing information recorded on a disk, a disk tray holding the disk and moving between a disk reproducing position and a disk removal position, and a loading drive mechanism (57) for driving the disk tray, is provided, as a disk tray position sensing mechanism (670) provided to sense the position of the disk tray, with a disk tray position sensing switch having a sensing lever, a slider pressing the sensing lever down in a first direction by interlinking with the loading drive mechanism (57), and a projection of a member pressing the sensing lever in a second direction by transmitting the power of the disk tray to the sensing lever.
