Abstract:
A disk wheel supporting a movement means is a disk-shaped wheel constructed in a circular shape, having a side surface shaped roughly as a disk, being rotatable, and providing support and mobility. Unlike a conventional wheel, which uses a wheel surface at a maximum wheel diameter to contact the ground for rotation and movement, the disk wheel supporting a movement means uses a maximum circular diameter of the disk shape as a lateral axis line, and forms a wheel surface by using one of two surfaces at the lateral axis line of the disk-shaped wheel. The lateral axis line is designed to be tilted at an angle, such that a portion of the wheel surface of the disk wheel supporting a movement means is in contact with an operation surface to generate traction, resulting in displacement of a support means, a transportation means, a delivery means, or various kinds of moving platforms that are supported thereon. The disk wheel supporting a movement means is capable of changing the direction of movement by changing a three-dimensional angle of the lateral axis line. In addition, the disk wheel supporting a movement means is capable of directly cooperating with a transmission shaft, a transmission mechanism, a motor, an engine, a braking mechanism platform, other devices, and the like, forming a moving device for various kinds of self-propelled assemblies.
