Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] A dispenser for a microchip, discharging liquid without generating
an air layer in a well and without the use of a complex control mechanism. [MEANS
FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The dispenser is provided with a well(11) having an opening
(11a) in its upper end, capable of containing liquid (F) in it, and discharges
the liquid (F) into the well (11) of a microchip (10) having inside a microchannel
(13a) communicating with the lower end of the well (11). The well (11) has at its
lower end a well bottom (14a) that is an annular step projecting inward of the well.
The dispenser discharges the liquid (F) from a tip opening (2a) after a dispenser
nozzle (2) is moved downward up to a position where the tip opening (2a) is located
at the well bottom (14a).
