Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a dispensing inspection assistance device and a dispensing inspection assistance method that have high robustness regarding comparison accuracy. In a dispensing inspection assistance device according to one aspect of the present invention, the size, the shape, and the position of an area of interest are set in accordance with the position in a captured image of a drug to be compared, and the size, the shape, and the position of a master image are set correspondingly to the set area of interest. Therefore, it is possible to avoid or reduce, for example, glare of an end portion, blur, and distortion of a drug shape due to the position and orientation of the drug to be compared. Therefore, the influence on comparison accuracy is low and the robustness regarding comparison accuracy can be increased.
