The present invention addresses the problem of providing a dispensing inspection device, a dispensing inspection method, a program, and a recording medium, with which it is possible to check with high reliability whether dispensing has been performed correctly. The problem is solved by: obtaining a first image capturing the rear surface of a medicine sheet, a second image capturing the medicine sheet from a side direction, and a third image capturing the surface of a fractional quantity of the medicine while illuminating the same obliquely from below; detecting the medicine name from the first image by using OCR and/or code recognition, detecting the quantity of medicine sheets from the second image, and detecting the fractional quantity of the medicine from the third image; detecting the total quantity of the medicine from the quantity of medicine sheets and the fractional quantity of the medicine; and determining whether there is a match between the medicine name and the medicine quantity in prescription information and the detected medicine name and total quantity of the medicine.
