Abstract:
The invention relates to a disperging device for disperging fibrous material (1), comprising a housing (2), in which a first treatment tool (3) and a second treatment tool (4) are arranged. The treatment tools (3, 4) respectively have a rotationally symmetrical form, are arranged coaxially in relation to each other, have teeth (6) which are arranged in several annular-shaped rows (5) which are concentric to the centre thereof, between which tooth gaps are located, are radially traversed by the fibrous material (1), and annular intermediate chambers are disposed between the rows of teeth (5) and arranged such that at least one row of teeth (5) of a treatment tool (3, 4) extends into an annular-shaped intermediate chamber of the other, complementary treatment tool (4, 3). Disperging is therefor improved by the fact that at least some teeth (6) of at least one treatment tool (3, 4) have at least one radially extending groove (9) which extends only over one part of the area between the base of the tooth (14) and the tip of the tooth (10).
